      ĽUĎOM, KTORÍ SADIA STROMY

      Punk je nekompromisné vykričanie vlastného názoru, často bez ohľadu na "remeselnú kvalitu". Funk je remeselná ekvilibristika, často bez akéhokoľvek názoru. Mladá bratislavská kapela Punk Funk Genius hrá názorovo bohatý punk s funkovou remeselnou poctivosťou. Šťastné spojenie.

      Slapujúca basa s funkujúcimi bicími, úsporne svištiaca gitara, neafektovaný spev. Cítiť aj citlivého producenta Mareka Rakovického, ktorý nahrávke pridáva príťažlivú ležérnosť. Sila a zvláštnosť tejto mladej partičky je však v autenticite a už skoro zabudnutom rockerskom idealizme. Napriek evidentnému obdivu k Red Hot Chili Peppers a niekoľkým prázdnejším miestam je to skvelý debut. Chlapci to myslia vážne, dobre hrajú. Posledné dve pesničky sú odzbrojujúco silné.

      "Ďakujem, že sadíte stromy / Hádam sa to raz v ľuďoch zlomí." Idealizmus bez pátosu. Stromy rastú. Rock'n'roll is here to stay.
